UP Junior Mathletes (Middle School Division)
Algebra
- Solving equations with multiple variables given the values for the variables
- Linear equations (solving them, writing equations for them)
- Unit conversons (US and metric. Converting US units to approximmate metric units, and having an understanding of the units of measurement prefixes)
- Solving systems of equations (subsitution, elimination, creating equivalet equations) and number of solutions to a system of equations
- Arithmetic and Geoetric sequences (recursive and explicit formulas)
- Arithmetic (addition, division, subtraction, and multiplication) with exponents
- Factoring quadratic equations
- Multiplying monomials with polynomials
Geometry
